Short Bio: Born into a middle class family, Lila was raised to respect her elders and study hard so that when the time came for college, she'd receive scholarships to help get her where she wanted to go. Her parents indulged her with time to feed her growing love for the written word and the arts. Lila became especially fond of writing and painting, she was often seen either sketching on her notes or leaving post-its around the house with new writing topics. She was also a lover of the outdoors, any chance she had to be outside was taken, even if it were to only be a moment to lay in the grass and watch the clouds drifting by. After middle school ended her parents wanted to offer their daughter a change in scenery and moved her to Yorkshire, England. There Lila attended high school all four years while perfecting her artistic qualities. Her junior year of high school however tragedy struck, her father died of a heart attack while she and her mother were out grocery shopping. Devastated, Lila studied harder, took longer hours at work, and managed to keep a normal social life with even a boyfriend mixed in. She was determined to make her father proud and fulfill the dreams they'd laid out for her. Her senior year she continued her hard work and eventually graduated among the honors students. The plan was to go immediately to college, but her mother got sick and it was decided that until she was better Lila would stay home and work. During that time the relationship with her boyfriend grew deeper, so much in fact that he'd even decided to marry her. The two had been serious since she was fifteen and he only sixteen. Now they were both adults and he wanted to take their love further. Lila however was not ready, and in a moment of weakness she ruined their relationship in the worst way possible. Because of this their love was ended leaving her shattered and alone. Luckily for her, her mother had mended and Lila was allowed to leave the reminders of what she’d done and was accepted into a university. In this past year she found a new love in Caleb, the very man who had aided in the destruction of her first love. Though a geek to the core somehow she managed to capture that heart of the DJ, the two had changed and seemed to find a devotion to each other. Both transferred in hopes of finding a fresh start. Lila craves an education that would allow her to follow the dreams she and her parents worked so hard to maintain.
